ORGs & CAUSES I LIKE TO SUPPORT
Seva.ca - Wonderful that a simple $50 will restore sight for someone from places that have given the world so much: Nepal, Tibet, India, Tanzania and eastern Africa, Guatemala, Cambodia and Egypt.
Camp Moomba Yogathon - great, local annual benefit for a Summer Camp program for kids affected by HIV/Aids. Founded by Eoin Finn.
I love Japan and my friends there.
As shown in the film The Cove, most Japanese people don't know about what's been happening to dolphins in one small town. Hopefully the film will get distribution throughout Japan.
Here in Canada, I am saddened that the cruel and outdated Seal Hunt continues.
The Humane Society International (Canada) appears to do important work in this area.
